Damascus is a township in Wayne County, Pennsylvania. Damascus has an estimated population of 3,562 people and just one neighborhood. According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 80.3 square miles. The eastern township boundary is the Delaware River, which also forms the border with the state of New York. The Damascus-Cochecton Bridge, across the Delaware River, connects it with Cochecton, NY. Damascus is part of the Wayne Highlands School District.
